Kristen Burns, Chief of Staff & Chief Administrative Officer
Kris is Chief of Staff and Chief Administrative Officer at The Weg Law Group and has worked with Geoff for the past 17 years. Her role and responsibilities at The Weg Law Group include overseeing all administrative operations, personnel, and internal financial matters. During her 25-year legal career, she has worked in various positions for both small and large law firms. A mother of 5 (4 boys and 1 girl), Kris loves to travel, spend time at the beach, and enjoy time with her family.
Krystine Cisto, Attorney
Krystine is an attorney for The Weg Law Group and brings extensive experience in all aspects of estate planning and trust administration. She helps clients plan their estates and prepares comprehensive estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and other documents. Krystine also assists clients in trust administration. Prior to joining The Weg Law Group, Krystine worked at an estate planning firm for over 15 years focusing on estate planning, trust administration, and probate. Ms. Cisto is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the State of New York.
Steven Li, Associate Attorney
Steven is an associate attorney for The Weg Law Group. His practice focuses on assisting clients in corporate and business law including business entity formation, business contracts and transactional matters. Steven earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and holds a Masters of Laws in Taxation from Loyola Law School. He enjoys playing basketball and hiking and currently resides in Newport Beach, California.
Ralph Loyola, Associate Attorney
Ralph is an associate attorney for The Weg Law Group. He assists the Firm and clients with estate planning, corporate entity formation, as well as various real estate and tax related matters. Ralph holds a law degree from DePaul University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside. Ralph resides in Hollywood, California, and enjoys playing basketball, going to the beach, thrifting books, rooting for the Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams, and learning new things. He is currently learning how to skateboard and play the guitar.
Ingris Aparicio Rios, Legal Assistant
Ingris is a legal assistant at The Weg Law Group. She assists with drafting estate planning documents and client correspondence. Ingris is a fan of traveling, especially to places that involve nature, lakes, and oceans.
Kolby Baumgaertner, Legal Assistant
Kolby is a legal assistant at The Weg Law Group where she leads on proofreading and editing legal documents for the Firm. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland and a Copyediting Certification from the University of California, San Diego. In her free time, she loves to hike with her husband and their daughter. Kolby is also an avid traveler and enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes.
Lauren E. Christiansen, Legal Assistant
Lauren is a legal assistant for The Weg Law Group where she assists clients with drafting and editing estate planning documents. Lauren has over 8 years of experience as a proofreader and writer, with a bachelor’s degree in English from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Outside of work, she is married with 2 daughters and 2 stepdaughters. She is a fan of going to the beach, playing with her kids, and eating new foods.
Nydia Diaz, Legal Assistant
Nydia is a legal assistant at The Weg Law Group. Her responsibilities include customer service and administrative tasks and she is the firm’s Spanish interpreter and a notary public. Outside of work, Nydia enjoys discovering new places, as well as spending time with family and friends. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nydia currently lives in Culver City with her husband and spends extra time with her 21 nieces and nephews.
Autumn Durand, Legal Assistant
Autumn is a legal assistant for The Weg Law Group. She assists the Firm and clients with editing and proofreading estate plans and property documents. Autumn is also the founding editor of Ghost Girls, an independent literary magazine created with the intent to publish marginalized voices, which has printed two volumes, Dreams and Body. She loves reading at least 3 books at a time, traveling as much as she can, and dogs of every kind.
Jill Fine, Executive Assistant
Jill is an executive assistant for The Weg Law Group. With 4 years of estate planning experience, she assists The Weg Law Group team and the Firm’s clients with client engagement, email correspondence, scheduling, customer service, and billing.
Leah Kunnath, Paralegal
Leahis a paralegal for The Weg Law Group and assists the Firm as a senior legal document drafter. Outside of work, Leah is a fan of writing, traveling, and film.
Karyn Mitchell, Production Manager
Karyn handles production for The Weg Group where she handles the production of legal documents and intakes, as well as collecting payments. Karyn enjoys dining out at local restaurants, spending time with her son, and her dogs.
Mave Montes, Legal Assistant
Mave is a legal assistant for The Weg Law Group where she oversees client scheduling.. A key client contact, she aids in scheduling client consultation calls and serves as the initial contact between the legal team and the Firm’s clients. Mave has over 8 years of experience in the legal support industry, working with both legal and insurance agencies. Previously she worked in the health information management field for over 8 years at Kaiser Permanente and Los Angeles Community Hospital. She holds a certificate for Paralegal Studies Program from Watterson College and an associate degree in Health Information Management from East Los Angeles College. Outside of work, Mave enjoys activities that help her personal development, including going to the gym, taking walks with family and her dog Trixie, or spending time with friends. She also loves to bake and travel domestically and internationally.
Nathan Wray, Paralegal
Nathan is a paralegal at The Weg Law Group. He has more than 7 years of experience as an estate planning paralegal. Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was on the speech and debate team and graduated with honors. A big fan of UCLA football and the Los Angeles Rams, Nathan currently resides in Tustin, California.
